Job Description: As a Teaching Assistant in our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) school, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students who require additional guidance and support to thrive academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to individual learning needs.
Building positive relationships with students, offering pastoral care and encouragement.
Supporting students with their emotional well-being, helping them develop resilience and coping strategies.
Collaborating with the wider school team, including SENCOs and external agencies, to create tailored support plans for students.
