A vacancy has arisen for a Pupil Support worker at Murrayfield Primary School. Murrayfield Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the community of Blackburn in West Lothian. The school community consists of 9 Primary classes, a 40/40 Early Learning and Childcare Centre and a Language Centre.

The successful candidate will have a remit both within the school and the ELC. This means that their timetable will consist of allocated slots supporting children in the mainstream school classes as well as time within the ELC, supporting the range of needs amongst our youngest learners.
The successful candidate will follow West Lothian Council policies. This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
