Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are delighted to be partnering with a leading biotech business based on the southern outskirts of Cambridge as they seek to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about transactional finance who wants to work for an exciting organisation who continue to grow from strength to strength. Working as part of their dynamic and friendly team, this role will be fully based in the office.
As the incoming Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be tasked with the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Management of the Purchase Ledger
- Inputting and processing supplier invoices
- Preparing payment runs
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Bank reconciliations
- Additional ad hoc duties as required
As the successful candidate, it is essential you have prior experience in a Purchase Ledger role previously, with good all round accounts knowledge. Other desirable attributes include:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiar with Microsoft excel
- Ability to prioritise workload efficiently and effectively
