Objective
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator or Purchasing Administrator who will provide administrative support to the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships, within the Food Industry.
Duties
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers
- Conduct research to assess supplier capabilities, reliability, and product quality.
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure all pricing, terms and lead times are accurate and updated on the system.
- Collate all supplier quotes and proposals ready for analysis.
- Manage central Purchasing inbox
- Input purchase orders whilst, ensuring all pricing, quantities, and delivery details are correct.
- Collate all import documentation, cross referencing against goods received note(s).
- Manage the current stock levels and advise if any lines are over or under stocked.
- Coordinate with various departments to confirm procurement needs and timelines
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Assist in resolving issues, disputes and communicating effectively with suppliers and internally.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
- Support in the preparation of reports for analysis and decision-making.
- Assist in identifying new opportunities for cost savings and product enhancements.
- Provide general administrative support to the procurement team, including data entry, filing, and document management.
Hours
Mon – Fri 9am -5.30pm
Salary
£24,000 - £26,000
