Description
- Supporting procurement activities and contributing to team goals.
- Maintaining purchasing records and tracking deliveries.
- Communicating with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and compare pricing.
- Assisting in the development of purchasing strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement laws.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure all purchasing needs are met.
- Performing administrative tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Purchasing Assistant should have:
- A solid understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using purchasing and inventory management software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
Job Offer
- Salary £25,000
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:15 - 17:00 & Friday 8:15 - 12:45.
