My client are a leader in their field and are ever expanding with exciting plans for the future. They are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join their team in Rhyl.
Job Description
Key responsibilities for the Purchasing Assistant will be:
- Stock forecasting, ordering and planning into multiple sites.
- Maintaining and managing stock record sheets
- Placing purchase orders as required
- Goods receipt all delivery notes against their relevant Purchase Orders
- Check and match all delivery notes from sites by reference to internal information provided.
- Participate in stock previews, product sourcing and development
- Participate in supplier negotiations
- Build and nurture relationships with suppliers at all levels
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Purchasing Assistant role will be/have:
- An understanding of Purchasing
- Ability to prioritise workloads
- MS Office
- Strong communication skills at all levels
