If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client as a Purchasing Coordinator at Carr’s Flour Mills in Kirkcaldy. The Role As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting their purchasing functions across their sites in Kirkcaldy, Silloth, and Maldon. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will ensure that our operations are seamless, from planning bound wheat to managing other essential consumables. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate inbound goods to align with sales contract commitments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across sites to meet customer contract requirements.
  • Assist in managing key categories, including the planning and sale of Co-products.
  • Provide accurate and reliable reporting on KPIs related to consumption and usage rates.
  • Support and maintain data integrity in D365.
  • Offer administrative support and holiday cover within the Purchasing team.
  • Engage in cross-functional communication and collaboration to enhance operational efficiency.
What We're Looking ForEssential:
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivation and a positive attitude in team settings.
  • Effective time management and the ability to work independently.
  • A proactive approach to supporting colleagues and working collaboratively.
Desirable:
  • Experience with Dynamics 365.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Procurement, Planning, Supply Chain, or Logistics.

  • Confidence in communicating with diverse groups.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills.
  • Quick decision-making abilities.
  • Capability to meet tight deadlines and use initiative to solve problems.
