Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our ever-growing team of professionals within our Gas utilities division. We are looking for Purge & Relight Engineers working in High Wycombe and surrounding areas.
About the Role:
The role will be working as a Purge & Relight Engineer (Gas Safe), following mains replacement in the High Wycombe and surrounding areas. You will be expected to carry out a number of tasks involving gas checks, visual inspections of gas appliances, standing and working pressure checks and, alteration of meter locations. We are looking for someone multiskilled with expertise and experience in the joinery aspects of the role in order to reinstate any floorboards etc. as needed.
- All applicants must be experienced & qualified gas engineers with CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 Qualifications
- All applicants must have their own van and tools
- Experience in a similar role
- Must be a team player
- Have a good work ethic
- Fantastic customer service skills
- Van and tools preferable but not essential
In return we offer a competitive salary based on a self-employed basis (with a UTR number). Day rate based upon experience and qualifications and can be discussed at interview stage.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £300.00 per day
