PVG Chef in Fife

We are currently seeking experienced chefs with a PVG certification to join our team. As a PVG chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for vulnerable groups, ensuring high standards of hygiene and nutritional value. You will collaborate with our team to create menus that meet the specific dietary needs of the individuals we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with team members to develop menus that accommodate diverse dietary needs.
• Monitor food supplies and place orders as needed.
• Work with sensitivity and respect towards vulnerable individuals

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a chef, with a focus on preparing meals for vulnerable populations.
• PVG certification (Protection of Vulnerable Groups).
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and restrictions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
