Pearson Carter is working with a big consultancy, who are winning new projects and expanding their teams. They operate on a global scale across the UK, the US and EMEA.
We are looking for an experienced PySpark Engineer to work on a 6-month FTC. This role is within the banking domain, so experience within this industry is required. Within this role, you are going to be using PySpark for deployment and migration of reports from SAP to PySpark and within the AWS environment. You need to have experience with PySpark application and dependencies, SAS and Hadoop.
Knowledge with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow would be beneficial.
Experience required:
- Strong hands-on experience with PySpark
- SAP, SAS
- AWS and Hadoop
- Docker / Apache Airflow (desirable)
Salary:
This is a 6 Month FTC position and offers £50,000 - £80,000 (pro rata), depending on experience + bonus + hybrid working.
Location:
The client has got an office in Manchester with a flexible work environment where working from home 2-3 times per week is possible.
