Salary🔍 Seeking a talented Python Developer for our client in the Investment Banking industry! 🧪💼
💸 Daily Rate: £700 - £800 (inside IR35 via umbrella)
🗓️ Contract Length: 12 months
Hybrid working - 2 - 3 days in London and remote working
🌍 Our client is a global organisation with expertise in financial systems. They are looking for an exceptional developer experienced in Python or other OO/Functional languages to join their team.
✨ Essential Skills:
Proficiency in Python
Experience with agile development and continuous integration
Familiarity with large-scale, highly available financial systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Solid degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or relevant field
Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
Understanding of Messaging Middleware and TCP/IP networking
Excellent team player with strong communication skills
Knowledge of contemporary development processes, build environments, and testing tools
Experience in 3rd line production support
Comfortable communicating with business users
🌟 Nice to Have:
Derivative/Options product knowledge, especially in FX
Front Office experience in FX, Fixed Income, or Derivatives Trading
Familiarity with integrated Front Office Development environments
Working knowledge of FIX Protocol, FpML, or standard financial models
Experience with connectivity to third-party systems
Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
