We’re looking for enthusiastic, proactive and dedicated colleagues who are keen to make a difference and deliver at speed.
Core Responsibilities :
  • Extract core logic and functionalities from existing Excel-based infrastructure, collaborating closely with stakeholders to refine and transform them into robust and comprehensive Python specifications.
  • Design, build, test, package, document, and deploy high-performance Python Financial Models, ensuring accuracy, maintainability and efficiency.
  • Integrate Python models with databases using SQL.
  • Actively participate in design forums and peer code reviews, providing and responding positively to constructive feedback.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of existing Python models.
  • Development of interactive dashboards.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Share your Python expertise through collaborative learning sessions with members of the team.
  • Support the design and implementation of robust operating models.
  • Leverage your expertise to help shape our technical future; ensure we use the best tools and infrastructure available to us.

Must Have Skills:
  • Proven track record of Python model development and implementation.
  • Ability to design and develop data pipelines.
  • A good knowledge of software design principles.
  • Financial Services Sector Background.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to document business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Passion for learning and staying ahead of the curve in technology.

Bonus points for:
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data storage, analysis, and deployment.
  • Experience with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
