Quantum Care is a not for profit company providing high quality care services for over 2000 older people in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex.
We need the right people to join us and provide the best possible care to our residents, offering support, maintaining dignity and assisting them to enjoy every day living in our Homes.
As a Care Home Receptionist you will be responsible for:
Providing a range of services as a member of a care team which is designed to provide a homely and caring atmosphere where the Q Club members' quality of life is maximised, enabling them to maintain independence for as long as possible.
Your Skills:
- Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of older people
- Physical fitness and able to cope with the demands of the post and attend for work on a regular basis.
- Ability to lead, motivate and manage team members effectively, including taking the lead in the training of statutory subjects to team members.
- Excellent planning and organising skills.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to policies and procedures including Health and Safety.
Knowledge:
- NVQ 2 in care, or working towards this certification.
- An understanding of basic budget and stock control.
- Management qualification.
- Good literacy skills.
- Good computer skills.
