Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled QA Automation Tester to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our delivered products. You will be responsible for test plan design, functional and non-functional tests implementation and execution, as well as test results and metrics analysis for scalable and robust cloud based platforms. These platforms enable efficient data management, automation of processes and provide high quality data services to our users and tooling.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Develop test cases for application features.
- Develop test strategies for new products.
- Develop and execute automated functional tests and non-functional tests.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to specifying acceptance criteria for new features.
- Contribute to project test planning and estimates.
- Communicate quality issues in actionable bug reports to project stakeholders.
- Develop and execute performance test scripts.
- Stay updated with the latest QA technologies and trends and make recommendations for adoption and improvements.
- Exploratory testing (product review)
Experience:
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, working with Azure data
services. - Proven track record with automated testing using Python BDD frameworks:
behave, pytest-bdd, radish. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration and ETL tools (e.g.,
Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle.
- Be able to contribute to user stories refinement and project tasks estimation.
- Ability to review and specify user stories acceptance criteria.
- Good knowledge and understanding of web services and related technologies –HTTP, RESTful services, XML, JSON etc.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or above is a plus.
- UI Testing using Selenium or Cypress.
