Role: QA Engineer (also known as QA Analyst, Test Engineer, Software Tester, Test analyst)
Location: Central London (1 day in the office per week)
Salary: £40,000 - 45,000, plus impressive benefits such as a 6% pension contribution, health coverage, and 25 days of annual leave (with increases based on service)
The Role:
As a valued member of our close-knit team, you'll collaborate with other testers, developers, and the product owner to deliver tests that are effective and efficient. Deepening your understanding of our innovative products, you will strategically focus your testing activities for maximum impact. Your involvement in sprint planning will be crucial, and you'll execute both formally scripted and exploratory testing techniques.
You:
Bring commercial experience in software testing to the table
Possess Linux expertise, ideally in Ubuntu/Debian environments
Demonstrate the ability to write efficient and effective tests
Have experience with defect management and tracking tools like Jira and Xray
Are familiar with command line tools
Show an interest in software development
Excel in debugging and troubleshooting tasks
Communicate with excellence, both verbally and in writing
Nice to Have:
Background knowledge in security or networkingPlease note that the holder of this role may need to go through SC Clearance, requiring at least 5 years of residency in the UK and citizenship of an EU or Commonwealth country.
