The Role

Unbiased is a Technology enabled business and key to the success of the business is the Technology team and the Technology that runs the business.  

Over the past year we have been upgraded our Tech stack to move to the latest frameworks and tools such as vue.js, graphql, docker and kubernetes as well as migrating to Google Cloud Platform. We are on a journey, and we are looking for a great QA engineer but also someone that can bring their own expertise to push forward our overall technical and development excellence. 

We are investing in our customer facing Apps and Websites so that they have a feature set to attract and engage customers with new capabilities and new channels. To do this we have grown and continue to grow the Tech team. This role will be part of our London based scrum team that complements our offshore scrum teams. 

In a nutshell, you’ll be responsible for…

• Functional testing, cross-browsing, cross-platform, smoke, regression, integration testing 
• Writing concise test cases & checklists using test design techniques 
• Thorough testing of our web application

These are the key technologies you will be working with: 

• Environment: Git, JIRA, Slack, Zeplin 
• Testing tools: Postman, TestRail, Browserstack, Chrome DevTools, Selenium, Linux terminal, PostgreSQL 

To succeed, you’ll need…

• More than 2 years of testing of web and mobile applications 
• Significant knowledge of theory & practice of test design techniques, writing & execution of test cases 
• Relevant knowledge & experience with HTML, CSS, Chrome DevTools, API testing, basic SQL DB queries 
• Hands on experience with tools for API testing, responsive design, DevTools 

• Desired, but not mandatory: Experience with automation (Java + Selenium), Linux, Docker, Browserstack
