Qa Specialist (Sterile)

Hobson Prior is seeking a Specialist in Quality Assurance for a role focused on ensuring the quality of products used in clinical trials. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving product batches, resolving quality issues and supporting the training and development of other quality assurance staff.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve product batches, making sure they meet quality standards.
• Investigate and solve any issues related to product quality.
• Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in training and developing Quality Assurance Officers.
• Help the Quality Assurance Manager prepare for and host audits.
• Ensure all staff complete and document necessary training each year.
• Ensure labels and batch records are created in a timely manner according to the production schedule.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Knowledge of aseptic or terminal sterilisation, ideally sterilisation by filtration or moist heat.
• Experience with Annex 1 requirements and controls for sterile manufacturing.
• Experience in creating, developing and maintaining a contamination control strategy, including Environmental Monitoring Strategies.
