The Job Mission
As the QA/QC Manager/Principle Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality and compliance in our client's projects, particularly at Hinkley Point C. You will lead a team of quality practitioners, providing guidance and oversight on quality activities. Your missions will include:
- ⚡️ Leading and supporting quality activities within projects/contracts
- ⚡️ Approving Project Quality Plans and MIT Plans
- ⚡️ Conducting
surveillance/inspection
activities at Client Sites/Sub-contractor facilities
- ⚡️ Guiding on acceptability criteria and product quality
- ⚡️ Ensuring data capture and analysis for management reports
- ⚡️ Overseeing the non-conformance process and facilitating timely closure
- ⚡️ Leading audits and quality records reviews
- ⚡️ Championing Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) and preventing non-specified material ingress
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills:

Extensive proven post-academic experience in a relevant field

Experience in large/complex projects, preferably in the nuclear or heavily regulated sector

Proven leadership in quality assurance/control principles and process management

Strong understanding of National and International standards

Successful experience in managing and leading a team of inspectors

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Member Grade Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or Practitioner Certificate in Quality Management (PCQI)
Desired Skills:
- ✔️ Working knowledge of License Conditions
- ✔️ Experience in international quality environments
- ✔️ Proficiency in maintaining and improving Integrated Management Systems
- ✔️ French language skills are not essential but would be a benefit
