Are you an experienced QA Manager with exceptional people skills who is looking to join a close-knit business as they go through a period of strong growth? If so, this role could be right for you. Our client are looking to speak to people with a strong background in manual (or automation) testing, who have experience of managing more junior members of staff who can effectively make a change in the business.
This role is a nice hybrid of QA Testing and people management. You'll work closely with our client's talented developers and product team to ensure their platforms are best in class. Our client work in an Agile environment, so you'll need to be flexible, proactive, and passionate about quality. This is a hands-on role for someone with a decent amount of QA experience, ideally in professional services (although we're open to the industries you've worked in).
You'll get to flex your API testing skills and expertise with various office systems. You'll need to be well versed in testing tools, such as: Test Rail, JIRA, SOAP UI, among others. This is predominantly a manual testing position; however, our client will be looking to implement automation testing at some point - so if you've got an interest (or even some experience within this) then that's going to stand you in good stead.
This is a management position so you will be working closely with more junior members of staff to help them grow and further their careers within Quality Assurance. On the management side of things, you will need to be a person who can come in from day one and effect change within a business. The ability to be able to grow the QA's you'll be managing is paramount to this role, and you'll need to have demonstrable experience doing so in your career.
