QC ANALYST II | WILTSHIRE | Competitive Salary + Shift Allowance
A leading pharmaceutical organisation are currently recruiting for QC Analyst II to join their facility based in Wiltshire on a permanent basis.
The role will involve shift work, 4 days on, 4 days off, which will include weekends.
The shifts are days and do not include evenings of nights.
The core function of this role will be to perform routine laboratory procedures, transfer / verification / validation of methodology, and project work to support manufacture and release of pharmaceutical products.
Key responsibilities include:

• Performing quality control analytical testing of incoming goods, intermediates and/or finished products under cGMP conditions for QC release or as part of stability studies


• Working with Liquid Chromatography, but also Gas Chromatography, and along with some protein based analysis


• Conducting technical transfer / method development / method validation


• Preparing technical documentation


• Providing technical troubleshooting and problem solving related to analytical equipment, analytical methods or unexpected results.

To be considered for the role candidates must have a relevant science-based degree (Chemistry preferably) and have experience of instrumental and traditional analytical techniques.
Experience working to GMP is required, along with knowledge of aseptic and contamination requirements.
Candidates must have a pro-active approach, an ability to work alone when required and make decisions and be a self-starter.
Experience with method development and/or method transfer would be advantageous, along with prior experience working with protein based analysis, including PCR and ELISA.
