the role
As a QC Inspector, you will ensure that the quality standards of the joint venture and the client are consistently met and compliant with the specification.
This role has been deemed inside of IR35.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Being a QC inspector, you will promote a Nuclear and Personal Safety Culture.
- Encourage continuous improvements across the project.
- Promotion and implementation of the Project Quality Management System and Joint venture process.
- Interact with project construction and suppliers in accordance with ITPs to ensure correct fabrication & installation.
- Conversant with nuclear fabrication specifications.
- Fluent with material certification review.
- Participate with audit activates both at supplier works on on-site.
- Timely, effective and concise reporting.
- Promote a disciplines approach to supplier deliverable approval and concurrent review of life time quality records.
You will have the following skills & experience
- Nuclear experience working in a QA function or QC function with development into QA via lead audit and CQI membership.
- Oversight of subcontractors, compilation and review of lifetime records. Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and Sellafield CQRM.
- Maintenance of package status & progress reporting, raising issued and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team.
- Understanding and familiarity or working within a team culture and JV environment.
You will need the following qualifications
- CSWIP qualified Welding Inspector 3.1 or 3.2.
- PCN ll qualified in LPI/MPI/RI/U/T.
- Painting Inspector, Qualified, Iccor level 2 or equivalent.
- NEBOSH/IOSH/CCNSG Safety Passport training & General MS Office Package.
