Job Description
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Receiving and processing of lifestyle shipments coming into the Goods In department.
- Addressing and resolving any queries within that process and ensure that products meet quality and efficiency standards and specifications as per UK Legalities.
- Working with all vendors and ensuring all necessary documents/instructions are verified and approved before product is shipped by vendors.
- Overseeing and reporting on the quality of all products, managing relationships with external vendors in relation to feedback on quality of products received.
- Working with the global QC team to address quality issues and taking initiatives to improve the overall quality and reduce defect rate.
- Processing of rejected stock and ensuring correct procedures are followed to treat damaged/defected stock.
- Responsible to give the approval for artwork, manuals etc.
- Ensure that the product has correct packaging - working on packaging improvement.
- Creating and maintaining various spreadsheets to report and analyse data & smart sheet for the LSP to be updated

A successful QC Manager should have:

- Clear and concise business communication skills.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Ensures that the department is co-operative and proactive in supporting other departments to achieve company goals
- Seeks to establish standard approaches across the business
- Knowledge of PC systems and packages required (MS Office)
- Learning attitude.
- Resourceful, adaptable, and flexible.
