Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a QHSE Lead - Transformation to join our passionate and driven team.
To undertake operational “Lead” for transformation of QHSE process and procedures across the entire QHSE Management system, ensuing any new procedures are fit for purpose, effective and are embedded throughout the business via effective roll-out programs.
To provide expert QHSE advice and guidance to Operational Directors, Senior Managers & Operational Teams during the mobilisation phase for any new acquisition or new contract, ensuring the “OCS way of working” for QHSE matters is understood and adopted through full delivery and embedding of the UK& I OCS QHSE System.
Support the QHSE team in BAU operational tasks where required

Key Responsibilities:
Functional
- To work collaboratively and constructively with other members of the QHSE Team to ensure a consistent and seamless delivery of QHSE support across OCS.
- To lead policy and process review programs within the QHSE Management System as required, ensuring the system maintains its effectiveness for the business operational needs.
- Develop and implement new policy & process with the QHSE Director as necessary.
- Assist on embedding the QHSE Management system throughout the incumbent business ensuring simplicity of access, full understanding and implementation through effective delivery programs.
- Lead on embedding the QHSE Management system within any new business or contract ensuring simplicity of access, full understanding and implementation through effective delivery programs.
- Work closely with the QHSE Lead for new business to ensure any new contract is mobilised in-line with the contractual requirements and all risks are mitigated through the QHSE Management System.
- Assist with training requirements where necessary of other QHSE team members and key operational staff to ensure required competency levels at mobilisation.
- Supporting as part of a mobilisation team(s) obtaining and reviewing key documentation e.g. Training records; Compliance records; Memberships and Accreditations.
- Directing and assisting the Mobilisation Manager with QHSE specific mobilisation plans. Ensuring QHSE site files are implemented. Develop training plan for new employees.
- Attendance of mobilisation meetings, providing QHSE updates.
- To assist with development and implement initiatives to drive continual improvement
- To support the business to manage effectively QHSE matters, capable of taking appropriate and timely corrective actions when required
- To attend meetings as required to provide QHSE assistance
- To build effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- To help up-skill operational management, in addition to external training, so their HSQE competence, confidence and abilities are enhanced
- To keep up to date with new legislation and industry initiatives to enable maintenance of CPD
