Qualified Early Years Educator - Want to join our team?

We are looking for a driven and hardworking Early Years Practitioner. This role will support and assist the Room Leader/Floor Manager, in planning and monitoring the nursery environment, and implementing essential policies and procedures. This will require creative thought together with an informed understanding of statutory requirements and best practice for childcare. It is important that we are compliant at all times; relevant action must be taken and resolved.

The post-holder shall collaborate, assist and support the Room Leader/the Floor Manager with the following:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Complete all daily nursery tasks satisfactorily as delegated.
• Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
• Comply with the staff ratio to ensure that children are adequately supervised during the day (indoors and outdoors) and at meal times.
• Implement policies and procedures appropriately and as instructed.
• Report any safeguarding issues.
• Adhere to the company’s Equality policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory.
• Give regular feedback to the Room Leader/Floor Manager about the children including any complaints received or any situation that may be detrimental to the nursery and agree on actions required or taken to resolve such issues accordingly.
• Consider every single day as an “inspection” day by OFSTED and ensure that the rooms are always compliant and can achieve an “outstanding” rating.
• Document and/or log any incidents, accidents or unusual situation.
