Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Maths Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about inspiring young minds and fostering a love for mathematics. They will have a strong understanding of the UK national curriculum and be able to deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in Mathematics or related field.
Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
