The disabled children’s service is a specialist social work service and provides social care support to children and young people with impairments and their families. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in the role; someone with experience in working directly with children and young people with significant disabilities. Responsibilities include: An ability to communicate with disabled children Supporting parents, carers and siblings of disabled children Carrying out assessments Carrying our complex safeguarding risk assessments Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment
