We are currently looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for Cardiff Council\'s Children\'s Intake and Assessment Team. The position is a permanent, full-time vacancy that is a part of a fast-paced and exciting team. As part of the Intake Team, you will undertake Well-being and S47 assessments and provide short-term interventions to support families to increase safety within a home environment.
Your new role
Cardiff Council are offering full-time hours, which includes hybrid working and a flexible working policy. You will be surrounded by a team of other Social Workers and Support Workers, along with your Team Manager, who are there to support and guide you along the way. As a Social Worker, you may also be involved in private law and care proceedings and will work under the Signs of Safety model for the best possible outcomes for families and children.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Social Work degree (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- At least 3 years\' experience in Children\'s Services.
