They are currently seeking experienced and passionate Social Workers to join their Assessment and Intervention Team in Bognor.

About the Role

The QSW - Assessment and Intervention Team - Bognor role is a fast-paced and supportive duty team completing Child and Family Assessments and Section 47 enquiries with children, young people and their families.
The successful candidate will be a team player who is enthusiastic, creative and has a passion for engaging children and young people.
The company is aspiring to become an outstanding service, so they are seeking candidates with experience of completing excellent assessments and direct work with children.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Child and Family Assessments and Section 47 enquiries


• Engage with children and young people


• Demonstrate relevant theoretical Social Work concepts, practices and detailed organisational knowledge relating to the provision of a professional Social Work service dealing with complex issues


• Good assessment skills that are able to identify risk


• Direct work with children to be able to identify their needs

Requirements

• At least 2/3 years recent experience as a Social Worker


• Recent front line child protection work


• Good multi-agency working experience


• Ability to drive around the Western locality


• Good verbal and written communication skills
