The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team from September 2024 for the full academic year. This position is a maternity cover role, providing an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Develop and implement creative lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English department's curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development sessions.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in English or a related field.
Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
