Job Description:
Scantec are seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Manager to join our client in Knowsley. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company products and services meet the required quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a quality management system that complies with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements
- Introduce and control Standard Operating Procedures for all departments
- Ensure that the company's products and specifications are met
- Conduct internal audits and manage external audits to ensure compliance with regulations
- Monitor and analyse quality metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Provide training and support to employees on Quality and Compliance matters
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and customers to ensure compliance with their requirements
- Manage the corrective and preventive action process to address any quality issues
- Work with all internal departments to ensure SOP are understood and followed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Quality and Compliance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management principles
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A hands on approach to tasks and an ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
