Job Purpose:
To support the Middle Office division of Charles Stanley Group, with responsibilities over controls, oversight and monitoring of the Front Office.
The ideal candidate for this role will have gained relevant monitoring or support experience. A self-starting and confident approach and willingness to develop knowledge are prerequisites for the role.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Carry-out file/activity reviews on the front office teams to ensure effectiveness of risk controls and processes.
- Support collation of MI from different sources to be evaluated in comparison to enable oversight of front office teams and timely escalation of concerns to line management.
- Support analysis and review of data for trend reporting.
- Presenting review outcomes in clear and understandable formats.
- To support how best to improve process and working methods based on outputs of monitoring.
- Review and understand department policies and procedure documents.
- Support in producing reports from key governance and oversight processes, including root cause analyses.
- Support resolution of department audit points.
- Support on the management of team communications and the team inbox.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) level, including Maths and English .
- Experience of operating with all different levels of an organisation.
- Experience of working in a team environment.
- Experience of working with or producing management information and reports.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Operate a very methodical and organised approach to work.
- Ability to use appropriate tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Working knowledge of financial/professional service organisation preferred.
- Be able to work to deadlines, displaying tenacity.
