Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team.
Position Overview: As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a key role in upholding our reputation for excellence in dairy production. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control within our factory, you will ensure that our products meet regulatory standards and exceed customer expectations. Leading a team of quality control inspectors, you will implement and maintain rigorous Quality Assurance procedures to uphold our commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee all aspects of quality control, including raw material inspection, in-process testing, and finished product analysis.
- Lead and manage a team of quality control inspectors, providing training, guidance, and support as needed.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze production processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality control activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or quality control within the food industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 9001).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in dairy or food manufacturing is preferred but not required.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Full-time position, Monday to Thursday (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) and Friday (7:00 AM to 10:30 AM).
- Competitive salary of approximately £35,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
