Quality Assurance Supervisor

Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for 1 x Quality Assurance Supervisor for our client based in Kingswinford.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-17:00

Pay: 33k per year

Temp to perm position.

-To effectively manage & motivate a team of people and drive them to be continuously audit ready

-To manage the day to day activities of the site QAs and hygiene team ensuring the required standards are set

-To have day to day contact with our customer base as and when required including responding to customer queries and complaints

-To act as the Food Safety and HACCP lead for the site

-To be involved with and drive the site Food Safety and Quality Culture Programme

-To be involved in site audits and customer visits and complete internal audits including GMP

-Attend new product trials, pre-production meetings and new product start-ups with or without customer representation. This includes completion of first production tasks for new products and communication both internally & externally

-Effectively use the integrated management system (Vision)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience required:

-Experience of working within a food quality environment within a quality role

-Experience of managing a team, whilst fostering an open and collaborative culture listening and encourage new ideas from others

-Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks working to strict deadlines for their own workload and their direct reports

-Displays a positive attitude to change and has the ability to positively lead and drive culture changes

-Ability to respond to changing customer needs
