Hey there, food safety and quality champions! Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with us? Valeo Foods UK, is on the lookout for a dynamic Site QA Supervisor to join our passionate team in Blackburn!

As Site QA Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in championing a collaborative food safety and quality culture within our QA and operations team.

Your Quest: You'll lead the way in promoting cross-functional working to make food safety and quality everyone's responsibility. With your expert guidance, our QA team will continuously improve how we manage food safety and quality. You'll develop and coach our team, setting clear objectives and ensuring their training and development needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct the QA team to ensure effective management of food safety and quality.
• Ensure factory compliance to customer policies, external certification, and GMP standards.
• Oversee incident management and drive continuous improvement through data-driven investigations.
• Manage internal audit programs to improve standards and quality.
• Handle customer interactions, audits, and complaints effectively and with professionalism.
• Drive right-first-time approaches to production and ensure effective performance against KPIs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Food Science or related discipline.
• Experience in FMCG or similar environment, with supervisory  experience.
• Knowledge of QMS, gap analysis and risk assessment
• Food Safety Level 3 
• HACCP Level 3 qualification and experience in retailer quality systems.
• Project management skills and BRC compliance awareness.
