Seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join a team that thrives on its collaborative spirit. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of the products through rigorous testing and analysis. Your responsibilities will include inspecting materials, conducting tests, and maintaining accurate records to uphold to their standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • High Care, Low Care, and Goods Management: Oversee the separation and management of high care and low care production areas, ensuring strict adherence to hygiene protocols and segregation practices. Monitor the handling and storage of goods to prevent cross-contamination and maintain product integrity
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data from tests and inspections. Identify any deviations from specifications and collaborate with relevant teams to address issues promptly
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all quality control activities, including test results, inspection findings, and corrective actions taken
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to food safety, quality, and sanitation. Stay updated on relevant regulations and participate in audits and inspections as necessary
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and consistency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and corrective actions

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Quality Assurance role, in the food industry
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and techniques
  • Level 2 HACCP
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
