Job Title:Quality Assurance Technician
Reports to:Quality Assurance Shift Manager
Location: Sunnyhills Road, Leek, ST13 5SP
Hours: Fixed nights 10pm-6am
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Ornua is actively seeking a Quality Technician to join our technical department as we continue our growth trajectory. The QA Technician will play a key role in maintaining our food safety standards and contributing to our vision of being a Best in Class technical function.

Why This Role Is Valuable:
The QA Technician is responsible for leading on;
Auditing of people, products, systems, procedures, and documentation to identify areas of (possible) non-compliance and ensure the necessary corrective action is taken
Maintain quality related records in an orderly manner to allow efficient filing, retrieval, and archiving
Carry out customer/consumer complaint investigation
Maintain the Non-Conformance system, carry out monthly trend analysis
Maintain hygiene standards by following cleaning schedules and keep work areas clean and tidy by adopting ‘clean as you go’ principles
To undertake any other associated duties which may arise.
What You Bring To The Role:
Keen eye for detail
Computer literate with knowledge of MS office
Ability to learn and understand key principles
Organised and confident to work independently
