SalaryWe're looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to work for our client.
They are a company with over 120 skilled employees.
They are a premium destination for exceptional doner kebabs and chicken kebabs.
They are a leading manufacturer in the industry who take pride in producing over 100 tons of kebab verities per week.

Responsibilities:
- Daily temperature checks on all ingredients, wip materials and finished products to ensure correct quality and traceability.
- Daily temperature checks of all production rooms, chills and products. Completing of daily/monthly/quarterly glass & hard plastic audits.
- Attending taste panel as part of wider technical team.
- Working towards BRCGS implementation and continuous improvement.
- Collection and storage of all retained product samples.
- To ensure effective documentation control.
- Production paperwork and proof of delivery liaise with the purchasing department and request the relevant supplier approval information, documents and certificates.
- Customer complaint handling.
- Quality Control of finished products including packaging quality.
- Labelling and packaging control.
- Quantity checks, weights, numbering, volume control.
Requirements:
- Experience of working towards achieving brcgs food safety standards
- Additional experience of supporting with external certification audits and site visits/inspections
- Further experience of carrying out internal audits
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to priorities workload
- Good understanding of brc
- A full driving licence is needed for this role
The Package:
- Basic salary: GBP25,000 - GBP28,000 per annum
