SalaryScantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading, global FMCG Packaging manufacturer near Newcastle, this is a fantastic business who supply into hundreds of leading consumer brands. We are assisting in their to search to recruit a Quality Auditor / QA Technologist for their growing Technical team. Your role will be to maintain and drive all quality and internal audit processes for ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and BRV Packaging V6 standards.
Hours / Shifts:
Days, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (flexible hours ie 7am-3pm)

Quality Auditor - Summary of core responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits & ensure all audit actions are carried out in a timely fashion
- Maintain internal calibration processes
- Participate in the HACCAP program including risk assessments for food
- Update and control the site database of company documents and procedures, to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Collect, analyze and present data on company quality systems
- Prepare reports, summarize findings and recommend solutions to problems identified during audits or investigations
- Provide feedback to management regarding improvements that can be made based on findings from audits or investigations
- Design and manage (document) briefings and the associated Sign Off sheets, and updating the relevant training record.
- Complete the administration of Customer Complaints to the given deadlines.
- Raise supplier concerns in the client portal and liaise with relevant suppliers.
- Review and manage the action plan with the WCP portal including inputting and updating actions as required.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience
We're seeking a Quality professional (Quality Auditor, Quality Technologist / Quality Tech) with experience of internal auditing including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001. A good knowledge of BRC v6 and lead auditor experience advantageous. Similar, relevant manufacturing experience in a similar food, or FMCG packaging environment would be ideal.
