Form of workThe function of the Quality Auditor is to assist the Quality Manager by ensuring that all the tasks allotted are carried out diligently and in a timely fashion. Working in a laboratory environment is
preferred
but not essential. All tasks listed below apply to both sites, Limited and Flavours & Colours.The tasks of the Quality Auditor are: -To perform balance checks on all factory weighing equipment using calibrated weights at the start of packing and mixing processes.Glass and hard plastic audits at intervals scheduled by the Quality ManagerGMP audits with full reporting.Daily production quality auditsTemperature checks on all fridges, freezers and factory chillerInput of production testing data on to systemsLaboratory testing of production samplesCreation of CoAs for manufactured and traded goodsInternal audits to be completed as per scheduleLiaise & co-ordinate workload with Technical Department colleaguesUpkeep hygiene and workplace standards within department, ensuring PPE, Personal Hygiene and H&S rules and regulations are adhered to at all timesTo maintain working conditions and equipment to standards set by the Company, enforcing Blends Policies & reporting any issuesUse initiative & engage for continuous improvement, undergoing training on a regular basisInteract with fellow employees in a civil mannerTo carry out procedures which safeguard themselves and the health and safety of other staff.To record all required information on relevant documentation.To abide by the company rules and conditions relating to time keeping, break times, absenteeism, illness and holiday leave etc.The Quality Auditor is accountable to the Quality Manager w hen absent from work, cover will be provided by a designated member of staff.This job description is neither exhaustive nor exclusive and may be reviewed in the future depending upon operational requirements and
