The Role
We are currently looking for Quality Checkers to work in a result orientated, quality controlled environment where being able to work with a high level of accuracy to prescribed processes and strict deadlines is essential. You will be working as part of a high-quality team quality checking GI Share claims.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Checking the quality of work produced by the case assessment teams in line with prescribed processes and procedures, considering criteria related to General Investment share sales within specific periods and time limits.
- Providing feedback to colleagues and management, ensuring this is delivered constructively.
- Looking for opportunities to improve processes or customer experiences through trends seen.
- Supporting Case Clinics and Appeals with technical knowledge.
Experience / Skills Required:
- Proven QC/QA experience within Financial Services is essential.
- Previous experience of checking GI Share claims and working towards stringent productivity and quality assurance targets;
- Previous experience in quality checking suitability assessments, including evaluating attitude to risk, reviewing and investigating customer profiles, and preferably familiarity with AIM shares and high-risk shares.
- Understanding of corporate actions, such as share subdivisions and consolidations, to ensure accurate compensation calculations.
- Proficiency in quantifying losses to determine appropriate compensation levels have been recorded, considering factors such as share value at purchase date, sale price, and quantification price.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Confidence to escalate issues to leadership team
- Be able to give constructive feedback
- Be empathetic and supportive to colleagues
The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager.
