Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, the Quality & Compliance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to quality, environmental, and safety standards across all company operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accreditation processes, conducting audits, and maintaining documentation systems.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, maintain, and implement quality and environmental systems.
· Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
· Manage accreditations for ISO9001 and ISO14001.
· Monitor Health & Safety standards of suppliers and conduct audits.
· Provide administration support to the Engineering Department.
· Manage the High Risk Database and Controlled Documentation.
· Develop new IMS systems as required.
· Improve IMS through effective IT tools.
· Adhere to Company SOPs, Quality Assurance System, and standards.
· Contribute to the management of change process.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
· Accuracy and Reliability of IMS
· Successful re-registration of all certifications
· Accurate reports produced to company deadlines
Person Specification:
Attributes:
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Smart appearance essential
· Good knowledge of health and safety legislation
Education/Qualifications:
· ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Implementation
· ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
· Full driving license
Knowledge:
· Good knowledge of health and safety management
· Practical knowledge of IMS systems
· Detailed Knowledge of 'MyC' Compliance Management Software (Desirable)
Experience:
· 2-3 years in a similar role
· Experience in managing QA systems and auditing
Skills:
· Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
· Experience in report writing
· Analysis & Interpretation of data
· Organisation skills

General:
· Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally to Europe
