Job Purpose

To ensure that all servicing, maintenance, repairs and rebuilding of equipment owned or managed by the Company is carried out in a safe, efficient and economical manner in full accordance with Company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure all company documentation is reviewed and accurate prior to equipment mobilising.
  • Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Checks equipment requirements against paperwork, conducting visual and measurement tests when required.
  • Assist with forklift and mobile crane operations in yard.
  • Ensure yard area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Assist in loading/offloading of equipment.
  • Inspection and evaluation of returning and outgoing equipment and report issues.
  • Assist with the maintenance of QC records.
  • Updating ERP system with on/off hire dates.
  • PDI of all outgoing equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area.
  • Ensure compliance with defined health and safety policies/procedures and identify any areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with defined environmental policies and procedures and identify any areas for improvement.
  • Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in accordance with Company health and safety policies.
  • Any other reasonably delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements.
  • Any other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience of goods in/goods out environment
  • Driving license
  • Forklift license
  • Recognised Banksman / Slinging certificate
  • Great communication skills
  • Planning and prioritising workload

  • Honesty and integrity
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Great organisational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
