Our client based in Grantham are looking for a Quality Control Assistant for an exciting opportunity within their business on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have QC / QA experience, great attention to detail, and possess excellent numeracy skills together excellent written and verbal skills, this role will involve walking between different departments and being outside in goods areas so must be physically fit.
Main Quality Control Assistant job responsibilities are:

• To undertake quality tests on raw materials and finished goods and to record the results of these tests accurately.
• To book in raw materials on receipt, ensuring all details are recorded.
• To Quality Control and ensure all raw materials are delivered in good condition
• To collect samples as goods arrive and again when goods are finished to determine quality.
• Printing and checking labels and tags.
• Internal audit information

We are looking for a Quality Control Assistant candidate who has excellent IT skills and ideally has QC or QA experience within food but is willing to learn and train in the role.
