Quality Control Assistant

Ravensby Glass is a leading processor of flat glass supplying to both the domestic window and commercial façade sectors throughout the UK. We are based in the East end of Dundee.

We are currently seeking an additional member to work within our Quality Control Department.

This role involves liaising with internal production staff, members of the management team as well as external customers. Applications will only be considered from those with proven Quality Control experience, preferably gained within a manufacturing background.

Duties will involve:

• Industry standard, daily Quality Control inspection and recording of test results, both in hard copy and digital records.
• Inspection of product
• Implementing corrective actions as required.
• Managing customer complaints and responses.

You should be able to demonstrate:

• Ability to work unsupervised and organise daily work schedule
• Ability to quickly respond to production/quality issues which may arise and resolve in a timely manner.
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Basic computer skills required to maintain and update databases and spreadsheets, Microsoft word and excel

This is predominately a shop floor based role.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm although a degree of flexibility may be required at times.

Holidays are 29 days per year, 9 days being used during our closure over the festive period in December each year.
