Quality Control Inspector / QC Technician

Quality Control Inspector / QC Technicianwith relevant experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment, and sound knowledge of ISO 9001 is required for a well-established, precision engineering company based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

Candidates will require the ability to read and understand engineered drawings with experience in using measuring equipment.

SALARY: £33,000 per annum + Overtime

BENEFITS: 23 days annual holiday allowance plus Bank Holidays, birthday leave, wellbeing day, excellent overtime rates, contributory pension scheme, life insurance, occupational health screening

LOCATION: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk (NR31)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 38 Hours per Week (early finish on Friday)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The Quality Control Assistant Lead Inspector / QC Technician will:

• Have experience in a similar industry with abilities to inspect machined and fabricated parts to high tolerances

• Ideally have sound knowledge of ISO 9001

• Have the ability to read and understand engineered drawings with experience in using measuring equipment

• Have excellent IT skills using Microsoft Word and Excel

• ERP system experience would be advantageous

• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced working environment

• Be both quick and methodical
