Shifts

6am - 2pm

2pm -10pm

Position:Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician
Location: Corby, UK

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting Comprehensive Testing: Execute Q.C testing procedures, including test bakes and a mix of chemical and physical analyses on a variety of products and ingredients as required.

Timely Reporting: Report any non-conformances promptly, providing thorough details and advising relevant personnel. Engage in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to address and prevent discrepancies.

Professional Communication: Respond to queries from company personnel in a professional and accurate manner, demonstrating effective communication skills.

Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly as part of a team, showcasing initiative when working independently. Thrive in a fast-moving environment where adaptability is key.

Workplace Excellence: Strive to maintain a clean and tidy workplace, adhering to all Health and Safety rules, to ensure a safe and productive environment.

Efficient Service Delivery: Provide the company with a fast, accurate, and efficient service to contribute to overall operational excellence.

Quick and Clear Communication: Communicate findings swiftly and effectively, ensuring that results are shared promptly with production and customer services teams.

Liaison with Stakeholders: Collaborate with production and customer services teams, ensuring the quick and clear communication of tested product results to meet customer orders efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Control or Lab Technician role working to GLP standards is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong initiative and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and adherence to Health and Safety rules.
