Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager on a freelance basis to oversee the quality assurance and control aspects of our retirement village project in Chester. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in residential construction and a proven ability to ensure all project components meet stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive Quality Control plans and procedures for the project.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction work meets established quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and address any issues or defects in workmanship, materials, or processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, site managers, and subcontractors to maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Monitor and document all Quality Control activities, including inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to site personnel on Quality Control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Quality Control management within the construction industry, particularly in residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
