37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Reed Recruitment (Southampton office) are pleased to be recruiting for a Quality & Control Manager on behalf of our well established client based in Petersfield. Our client is a leading Arboricultural and Forestry Contractor, with 20 years of experience and expertise in the forestry sector. They have forged a strong industry reputation and they believe they have an unrivalled skill set and peerless knowledge of forestry work at all levels.

?They also play a key role within the Rail industry, providing a whole manner of off-track solutions, and minor civils works, in partnership with both Major Contractors as well as Network Rail.

The successful candidate will assist the Senior Quality & Office Manager in the implementation of new processes and procedures, and will support and educate colleagues to maintain consistency in internal processes and external standards, to ensure best practice across the business.

?You will take a leading role in audit processes including periodic internal audits and the management and coordination of external audits or assessments. They are always looking for ways to improve the way that  they do things and through regular review of process, documentation and audits you will help to identify and suggest improvements that can be made to better efficiency, effectiveness and to ensure best practice.

You will take ownership of internal Q&C processes, including control of Quality Management Systems, maintaining job file structures, and chairing internal Periodic meetings. You will collate, analyse and report on key metrics to identify and highlight trends, risks and opportunities. And as part of the Bid team, you will prepare the Q&C elements and responses for external PQQs and tenders.

About you...

Working in a similar role, you’ll have significant experience of working with controlled systems and of the compliance required for ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001. You will have good knowledge and understanding of audit processes and may hold Internal Auditor qualifications.

?You will be process driven, a tenacious problem-solver. Highly organised, you can successfully manage the demands of concurrent projects and audits.

?You will have excellent IT skills, especially in advanced Excel processes, and MS office packages. You’ll have experience of writing reports and in the manipulation and presentation of data for reporting processes.
