Form of workDue to internal promotion, the role of Quality Control Technician has arisen for a fantastic company based in Andover. They are specialists in supply chain with a growing customer base and offer recognition and reward for their employees. They are now wishing to employ an enthusiastic and driven Quality Control Technician to complement their Quality team.

Based Andover. Full time hours, Monday-Friday, permanent. Start date 2nd April.
Salary will reflect your level of experience (and if you have working knowledge of ISO9001: 2015 and AS9120B) within a range of £25,000 - £32,000 per year.
As Quality Control Technician, you will be working closely with the Quality Supervisor and play an active part in Quality Control checks and identifying areas for improvement. We seek an individual who has knowledge and understanding of product drawings and specifications and understands the full production and supply discipline.
Quality Control Technician Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining company inspection reports
- Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards
- Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Customer Requirements
- Support inspection related activities including First Article Inspection Reports, Goods-in, and final inspection
- Creation of internal paperwork including certificate of conformity & certificate of manufacture
- Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly
- Reporting quality anomalies to the Quality Supervisor
- Collating test data and drafting quality reports.
- Liaising with Suppliers and Management regarding Quality Issues
- Identifying possible areas for improvement in Quality Control processes
Quality Control Technician Experienced required:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician
- Ideally working knowledge of ISO9001: 2015 and AS9120B quality systems
- Understanding of 8D processes
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical information/drawings etc
- Experience collating and drafting reports
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Strong eye for detail
