Quality Coordinator

A leading manufacturing firm in Gloucester are looking for an experienced Quality co ordinator to maintain the Quality Management System to ensure full compliance to all national, international and customer standards. Reporting to the Group Quality Assurance Manager on the performance of the QMS.

Main Duties:

Partnering with all teams on site to ensure quality assurance processes are adhered to, the Quality Assurance Engineer provides support and indirect oversight of the production environment to partner with others to prevent and limit quality issues arising.

You will drive quality improvement standards at the site, ensuring high standards are met across specification, compliance, supply chain, and quality processes (and / or customer specifications) as per the QMS.

With the ability to liaise with customers, work with accrediting bodies and support others; this role is a key contributor to growing our company-wide commitment to quality and excellence in order to support our reputation for providing an outstanding service.

Experience:

 • Experience of working in a Quality function, ideally within an Automotive or Engineering setting

 • Experience of ISO9001, AS9100 and external auditing

• Internal auditing experience

• Experience influencing in cross functional improvement teams

• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
